Our names are Richard and Bonnie Reale. We live in St. Petersburg Fl. We were recently in Cedar Key and stayed at another Inn. As we spent the day driving our rented golf cart around the wonderful city of Cedar Key, we stumbled across the Faraway Inn. We probably spent an hour walking around the grounds, speaking to the employees, and taking quick peeks into some of the rooms that were being cleaned for the next lucky visitors. We instantly fell in love with this place. We try to get up to Cedar Key once every couple of months, and have found a new place to rest our heads and relax. We look forward to our next getaway and a stay at the Faraway Inn.

P.S. Thanks for having a great place that is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the in town traffic, but within a bicycle ride or a walk to all the restaurants and shops.

My Husband and I had a WONDERFUL TIME.. This was our 2nd time staying at your resort, I would HIGHLY recommed you to all our friends and family. Oliver, Doreen & Carole are very cordial. The next time we come we will bring our Pembroke Welsh Corgi Blossom to Faraway Inn, I'm sure she will have a wonderful time too!!

We had such a wonderful visit. Our son met two boys his age, and they had a super time playing together. Having all the families together for an evening of laughing and telling stories on the swings with their dogs was especially relaxing. We had never met, but everyone got along as if we were old friends. Our son said he felt like he was home. Can't wait to visit again and take a canoe or kayak out for a paddle.

I stayed at the Inn last October during the Cedar Key Wildlife Festival with my Pekingese dogs. We had a great time! The place is ideal for pets and convenient to everything. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful time; we meet friends from Pennsylvania and they stayed another day. We will be back when the weather is warmer so we can explore the outer islands. The peace and quiet were just what we needed and the folks we meet from all walks of life just helped to make our weekend special.

Hi Everyone! Again, my monthly sojourne to Faraway and Cedar Key was filled with excitement and peace. Altho Hannah still adjusts (my cat) - I have the best time of my life there. Moving to CK "will" happen. Thanks again Phil for the wonderful "tour" beyond my own means of transportation! An excellent host and loaded with knowledge of the area! Hi Doreen & Oliver! Late in finding your guest book...we were there in #12 after the 4th of July 2004, and it was soooo nice and peaceful after seeing the crowd that came over the 4th! Next time I bring my kitty, and next time I stay longer! Awesome place, better than any 5* hotel in the city, hands down! Peace is the name of life now and you certainly provide the means! Thanks!
