Our guests enjoy FREE use of canoes, kayaks, bicycles, BBQ grills, fish/turkey fryer, fish cleaning station, fresh water for rinsing boats/trailers and flushing motors, covered pavilion with locally crafted porch swings, games, books and movies. Each unit comes equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, two pre-packed coffees, sugar and creamer. Free wireless broadband internet access in all rooms.
   
   
We welcome responsible pet owners and well-behaved pets. No size restrictions for dogs - we love them all, big and small. Other companion animals like kitty cats and birds are welcome. We have had a few lizards and hamsters too. Pets are allowed on most beaches and in some outdoor seating restaurants.
Explore the island with the use of Faraway Inn's free bicycles, canoes and kayaks. Visit prehistoric Indian mounds. You must check out our local museums for some fascinating local history. Wander through the local galleries and artists co-ops.
